Developed as part of the Wire Seminar @HFG-Karlsruhe led by Prof. Chris Kabel
Chain-link Sphere reimagines the common flat fence as a three-dimensional, self-supporting form. Fourteen individually wound wire elements, each tapering in link spacing toward its edges, combine into a half-sphere, turning a familiar planar pattern into curved geometry. The work studies volume emerging from a flat industrial material, guided by geometric logic alone.
